Community Fundraising Event for Nepal


Together for Nepal. Small Actions. Big Impact.

Sunday, 20 September 2026 | Loch Insh, Scotland
 

Equal Adventure is bringing people together for a community fundraising event in support of people affected by the recent floods in Nepal.We will be hosting a choice of walking and paddling activities at Loch Insh, bringing disabled and non-disabled people together for a day of community, adventure and solidarity.

The event is open to everyone.You can choose your own challenge, take part at your own pace, or simply come along and support the community.Take on a challenge. Make a difference.

WALK, PADDLE OR SIMPLY TAKE PART
The event will take place at Loch Insh, bringing people together for accessible community activities in the outdoors.Participants can choose between:

WALKING
Take on a walking challenge around the Loch Insh area.Whether you want to set yourself a personal challenge or simply enjoy being outdoors with others, the walking activity provides an opportunity to participate at your own pace.

PADDLING
Take to the water and enjoy a paddling activity at Loch Insh.The activity will provide an opportunity for people to come together through paddlesport and experience the outdoors in an inclusive environment.

Our Patron – Hari Budha Magar



We are proud to have Hari Budha Magar, a Nepalese-born mountaineer, disability campaigner and Patron of Equal Adventure, supporting our Community Fundraising Event for Nepal.His journey of adventure, inclusion and determination reflects the spirit of this event — bringing people together to take positive action and make a difference.

A Clear and Transparent Financial

We want everyone taking part or making a donation to understand exactly how the money raised through this event will be handled.

Money raised through the Community Fundraising Event may come through:
Eventbrite registration and payments
Direct donations made to Equal Adventure
Other agreed fundraising contributions connected with the event.

Where funds are received by Equal Adventure, they will first be received into an Equal Adventure account.The funds raised through this event will then be transferred by Equal Adventure to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal, supporting the official relief response.
